Satinder Kaur
Mumbai. Morning walks. A long career in operations that turned into writing, speaking, and coaching. Consultant is the job title; the person comes first.

I notice what most people step over. A form that makes someone queue twice. A charge on a bill that the customer cannot read. A team doing its best inside a process that was never designed for them. That habit of noticing has run through every chapter of my life, and it is why the work I do feels less like a job and more like something I was built for.
I have spent more than thirty years inside large operations. Listening to customers, watching how work really moves, finding the friction. Helping people move through complexity with more clarity. The titles changed over the years; the listening never stopped.
Outside the work, I read, I walk, I write essays before they know they are essays, and lately I am chasing a list of 62 things at 62. The question that has stayed with me through all of it is a simple one. How do we make the experience work better for everyone inside it?

Service Operations holds the professional thinking, the discipline of service at scale. I Am My Own Garden is the personal one, about the inner shift required to lead a life with intention. I wrote both the same way I work: paying attention, then writing it down.
